Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 25 June 2026
These terms govern your use of SkyMarket.uk. By accessing the platform or creating an account, you agree to these terms in full. Please read them carefully. If you have questions, contact us before using the service.
1. Using SkyMarket
SkyMarket.uk is a classifieds platform for the UK general aviation community. We facilitate connections between buyers and sellers but are not a party to any transaction. We do not hold aircraft, handle payments, or act as agent for any seller.
You must be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom to post a listing. Use of the platform for any unlawful purpose is strictly prohibited.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches these terms, without notice and without liability.
2. Listings
When you post a listing, you confirm that:
You own the item or have authority from the owner to sell it
All information provided is accurate and not misleading
Photographs are of the actual aircraft or item being sold
The listing does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property rights
SkyMarket reserves the right to remove any listing at any time without notice, including listings we believe to be inaccurate, fraudulent or in breach of these terms.
3. Fees
Posting an aircraft listing on SkyMarket.uk is free of charge. Optional paid features — such as featured placement — are available at prices stated at the point of purchase.
Paid placement fees are non-refundable once a listing has gone live, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
We reserve the right to introduce or amend fees for any feature of the platform. Where we do so, we will give registered users at least 30 days’ notice before new charges apply.
4. Buyer responsibility
Buyers are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any transaction. This includes arranging a pre-purchase inspection by a qualified engineer, reviewing technical logbooks, checking the aircraft’s registration status on the CAA G-INFO register, and obtaining independent legal advice where appropriate.
SkyMarket accepts no liability for the condition, airworthiness, title, history or fitness for purpose of any aircraft, part or other item listed on the platform.
5. Liability
SkyMarket.uk is provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkyMarket Ltd excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform, including indirect or consequential loss.
Where liability cannot be excluded at law, our total aggregate liability to you in connection with these terms is limited to the fees paid by you to SkyMarket Ltd in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
6. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@skymarket.uk if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Deleting your account will remove your personal listings.
We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that breach these terms, post fraudulent content, or engage in behaviour that damages other users or the platform.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you retain the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
