About SkyMarket

Built by pilots,
for pilots.

SkyMarket.uk is the UK’s dedicated aviation classifieds — a cleaner, faster way to buy, sell and find everything the general aviation community needs.

Our story

Why we built this

General aviation classifieds in the UK have been stuck for years. Listings buried in forums. Blurry photos and vague specs. No way to filter by what actually matters to a pilot — engine hours, ARC expiry, avionics fit.

We built SkyMarket because we wanted what didn’t exist: a platform that understands aircraft. One where every listing tells you what you need to know before you pick up the phone, and where finding hangarage or a syndicate share is just as straightforward as finding a Cessna.

We’re a small team based in the UK. We fly ourselves. We know what you’re looking for.

“

We spent years buying and selling aircraft through forums and Facebook groups. The experience was genuinely terrible. SkyMarket exists because we got tired of waiting for someone else to fix it.

Free listings

Every aircraft listing on SkyMarket is free to post. We make money through optional featured placements, not by charging sellers to be found.

Verified registrations

We check listed aircraft against the CAA G-INFO register to confirm registrations are current and match the seller’s details.

Detail-first

We require comprehensive listing data — not just a price and a photo. Specifications and history before publishing.
